Tree Removal
We take down dead and leaning trees of any size, with our crane when a tree hangs over the house. The brush gets chipped and the wood hauled off before we rake the yard.

Stump grinding cuts an old tree stump down below grade so grass can grow over the spot again. Based in Tampa with a second shop in Homosassa, we do stump removal across Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties. It might be one stump by the driveway or six stumps in the back yard. Our stump grinder turns the wood into chips, and we rake them into the hole or haul them away.
We grind the stumps from our own tree removal jobs and old stumps another company left behind. Palm stumps left by a palm tree removal come out the same way, and so do the surface roots of a tree that is gone. Call or text (813) 293-2948 and send a photo of the stump for a free estimate.
Tell us about the tree, the lot or the structure and where it is. We look at the job and put the estimate in writing.
First we look at the stump and how the machine gets to it. A live oak or a laurel oak leaves a wide stump with roots that run across the lawn. Our compact machines fit through a back-yard gate, so a stump behind the fence is within reach.
Before the grinder starts, the buried lines get marked through Sunshine 811. Then the grinder's toothed wheel chews the stump into chips below grade. Tell us what goes in the spot next, and we plan the depth around it. We clean up before we leave.
Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30, and a storm can leave stumps and root balls behind. Storm cleanup comes first, and the stumps can be ground once the yard is safe.
Florida's 811 law covers work meant to break into the ground. Grinding a stump below grade does exactly that. Sunshine 811 says to call before you pull out or grind a stump left from a storm. Roots can grow into buried utility lines and tangle around them.
Sunshine 811 puts the call on the company doing the work, so on a stump job the call is ours. The call goes in at least two full business days before grinding starts. The day of the call does not count, and neither do weekends or holidays. The utilities then mark their lines with paint and flags, each in its own color.
Red marks power and yellow marks gas, and the marks are good for 30 calendar days. Member utilities mark only the lines they own. Private lines, like sprinkler pipes or power run out to a shed, are yours to point out. Near a marked line, Florida law sets a 24-inch zone on each side where digging takes extra care.
Ganoderma butt rot is a fungus disease that kills palms, and UF/IFAS says it is found all over Florida. The fungus moves into dead palm stumps and grows hard, shelf-like conks full of spores. When an infected palm comes down, UF/IFAS says to remove or grind the stump to limit those conks.
An old stump rots slowly as fungi break down the wood. UF/IFAS says Florida's native subterranean termites live statewide. They turn up in dead trees and rotting wood. Near the house, we can haul the chips instead of raking them into the hole.
A land clearing job can leave stumps scattered across a whole lot. We grind them below grade so the cleared ground can go to grass or pasture.

I was impressed with the workers. They were respectful of my property. As for the cutting they did exactly what I wanted. The pricing was reasonable.
Very professional and responsive. Quoted fairly & competitively. Showed up on time and did a great job. Highly recommend and would work with again!
I had a tree that was rotten and needed to come down asap. A sharper image gave me an estimate and theirs was significantly less than competitors. Not only did they do the job quickly but they did an outstanding job. So grateful for this tree service. They helped me protect my home!
