Our demolition services in Tampa take down small structures and haul the debris away. That means old fences and decks, docks and ramps on dry land, and pergolas and play structures. We break up old concrete slabs, pads, walkways and footers, and we clear storm-wrecked outbuildings and their debris. Sheds and other small outbuildings come down too.
When the structure is gone, the site is cleaned up and rough-leveled. On a lot headed for a new build, demolition is the first step of land clearing and site preparation. We work from Tampa north to Crystal River. Call or text (813) 293-2948 for a free estimate.
Tell us about the tree, the lot or the structure and where it is. We look at the job and put the estimate in writing.
About a third of the homes in Tampa were built before 1970. On an older lot, the shed or the deck out back can be just as old. Our crew takes the structure down, and the grapple on our compact track loader loads the debris.
Old slabs and footers get broken up and hauled off on our trucks. Compact machines that fit through a back-yard gate reach the slab or shed behind the house. Before we leave, the ground is raked and rough-leveled. We do not take down houses, mobile homes, barns, garages, commercial buildings or pools.
Hurricane season storms can flatten a fence or tear a shed apart. We take down what is left and haul off the debris around it. When a fallen tree is part of the wreck, our emergency tree service crew takes the tree off first.
Florida's building code calls for a permit to demolish a building or structure. The permit goes to a licensed contractor or to the property owner acting as owner-builder. The city or county building department says whether a fence or shed needs one. If a job needs a permit, the permit is in place before any work starts.
Utility disconnects come first. Inside the City of Tampa, the demolition permit needs sign-offs from the electric and gas companies. Florida law also requires a call to Sunshine 811 at least two full business days before demolition starts. The utilities mark their buried lines, while private lines, such as power run out to a shed, stay unmarked.
Florida's building code also puts an asbestos notice on every demolition permit. Where the rules require an asbestos survey, a licensed asbestos consultant does it before anything comes down. In Hillsborough County, the Environmental Protection Commission runs the local asbestos program.
On acreage north of Tampa, an old shed or fence line can stand right where the new house will go. The structure comes out first, and the trees and brush follow. Big oaks and pines come down with our tree removal work, and the stumps come out too.
When the lot is clear, the ground is rough-leveled so the builder's crews can start. We work the whole corridor, from Hillsborough County up through Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties. We have two shops, one in South Tampa and one in Homosassa.

The crew does the job as written, whether that is a takedown, a trim or a clearing. Big trees near the house come down in sections, on ropes or with the crane.
The brush goes through the chipper and the wood goes on our trucks. Then we rake up and take a final look at the work with you.

I was impressed with the workers. They were respectful of my property. As for the cutting they did exactly what I wanted. The pricing was reasonable.
Very professional and responsive. Quoted fairly & competitively. Showed up on time and did a great job. Highly recommend and would work with again!
I had a tree that was rotten and needed to come down asap. A sharper image gave me an estimate and theirs was significantly less than competitors. Not only did they do the job quickly but they did an outstanding job. So grateful for this tree service. They helped me protect my home!
