Land clearing turns a wooded lot or an overgrown field into open ground. Our land clearing services cover house lots and acreage from Tampa north to Crystal River. The trees come down and the brush gets cut to the ground. Stumps are pulled or ground, and invasive growth like Brazilian pepper comes out too.
Tell us the plan: a new home, a barn, a pasture, a fence line or an access lane. For a house, site preparation for a new build adds grubbing and rough leveling for the builder. Call or text (813) 293-2948. We look at the land with you and put a free estimate in writing.

Forestry mulching grinds brush and small trees where they stand. The mulch stays on the ground as a cover over the sand, and the roots stay in the soil. It fits land you want open with some cover left, like a pasture edge or a fence line.
Brush removal takes the growth off the land. We cut the brush and trees, and our compact track loader with a grapple loads them out. The wood and brush are chipped or hauled off on our trucks. What is left is open, bare ground.
A big tract can get some of each: mulch on the back acres, bare ground at the homesite. There, stump grinding takes the stumps below grade, or we pull them whole.
A house lot in Tampa and a wooded tract in Citrus County are different jobs. On a tight lot, compact machines fit through a back-yard gate. On open acreage, our compact track loader with a brush cutter works through overgrown fields. We clear single lots and big tracts alike.
The ground changes as you head north from Tampa. Around Wesley Chapel and Land O' Lakes, flatwoods of slash pine and longleaf pine grow over saw palmetto. Cypress fills the wet low spots. The sand ridges around Spring Hill and Inverness grow native turkey oak, sand live oak, sand pine and longleaf pine.
The Nature Coast is the Gulf side of Hernando and Citrus counties. On the Hernando stretch, coastal hardwood hammock meets salt marsh. Near Homosassa and Crystal River, limestone sits close to the surface in places. Soft or rocky ground changes which machines fit the job.
Clearing rules change at the city and county line. Inside Tampa city limits, most trees 5 inches or more across at chest height need a permit to come out. In unincorporated Hillsborough County, clearing a lot calls for a land alteration permit. A wetland or a pond on the lot brings the Environmental Protection Commission into that review.
Pasco and Citrus counties issue no permit for clearing alone. There, protected trees on vacant land wait for a permit to build. We can walk you through the county's permit page, and the permit is sorted out before work starts.
Wetlands and wildlife add their own steps. Work that would affect a wetland can need an Environmental Resource Permit from the Southwest Florida Water Management District. Florida's wildlife agency, FWC, says gopher tortoises must be relocated under an FWC permit before land clearing. Under FWC's rules, any work within 25 feet of a burrow counts as a disturbance.

The crew does the job as written, whether that is a takedown, a trim or a clearing. Big trees near the house come down in sections, on ropes or with the crane.
The brush goes through the chipper and the wood goes on our trucks. Then we rake up and take a final look at the work with you.

I was impressed with the workers. They were respectful of my property. As for the cutting they did exactly what I wanted. The pricing was reasonable.
Very professional and responsive. Quoted fairly & competitively. Showed up on time and did a great job. Highly recommend and would work with again!
I had a tree that was rotten and needed to come down asap. A sharper image gave me an estimate and theirs was significantly less than competitors. Not only did they do the job quickly but they did an outstanding job. So grateful for this tree service. They helped me protect my home!
